Wendy Butler is an instructor of practice in the Department of Management and the director of organizational development at Marquette University. Wendy teaches graduate-level courses in the area of organizational development as well as professional and executive education in the topics of leading change, team building and leadership development. She brings more than 20 years of experience working with organizations such as Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, the Johnson Foundation at Wingspread and Saint Luke’s Medical Center. She has also partnered with not-for-profit organizations such as Next Door. Her passion is in helping organizations in the areas of employee engagement, leveraging organizational culture, and the design, delivery and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning within organizations. Wendy is a certified Everything DiSC Trainer and Change Management Practitioner. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay and a Master of Science in Human Resources from Marquette University. Outside of work, Wendy has volunteered in the community as a tutor for Schools of Hope and a speaking coach for the United Way.
